We established a co-evolutionary
partnership with a nature
It is not enough to seek sustainability in our actions; we have to reintegrate ourselves into the ecosystem we inhabit, as nature as we are. We have to stop being consumers of natural resources and become co-participants in their production dynamics.
How do I integrate into ecosystem processes? To the cycle of water, energy, nutrients? It is the preservation of these processes that guarantees the life of large animals, like us humans. And this is only possible through soil conservation, from the creation and maintenance of a multi-stratified vegetation.
Ecological Corridor
The forest reserve of all farms is concentrated in the farm's original forest reserve area, thus keeping the primary forest preserved.
A path to reconnection
At Taperebá, we aim to promote a human occupation that leads to the reintegration of residents into the local ecosystem, thus bringing more health and well-being to individuals.
We seek to take the excess off, to understand what is essential and reconnect.
We take care of the soil, with the preservation of forests and agroecological crops.
We take care of water, ensuring its disposal and products used.
We seek to reduce waste production, reducing consumption, composting organic waste and separating recyclables.
We build efficient and ecological houses, which use local materials and new and ancient technologies to guarantee comfort with a minimum of environmental impact.
We produce part of our food through organic gardens and agroforestry crops, as dealing with the land is a shortcut to reconnection.

What is the culture that we intentionally want to create at Taperebá?
A culture that reflects the patterns of nature. Based on cooperation, network flow state. That understands that each individual is in constant transformation, based on the interaction with their social environment, and in this eternal recreating themselves, they collaborate with the whole in a very specific way, according to the possibilities and potential of each being, supporting the collective to change towards states of greater complexity.
Taperebá will have an organized social structure of participation, which will take care of the necessary aspects for this culture to be strengthened, with mediated meetings that weave our network of relationships while establishing horizontal governance for the village. It will be formalized in the form of an Association of Residents, which will stipulate the performance and coexistence agreements for the collective.
In addition, we have the Taperebá Club, a living space prepared for adults and children, structured to host meetings, artistic and bodily activities and moments of collective relaxation and connection with nature, in addition to the cultivation of agroecological foods that will be made available to residents. .
Integration with territory
We take care of what is important for our project to prosper, mapping strategic local businesses and services and supporting them to develop, towards the development of the territory's potential.
Our project was built from the regenerative paradigm, from the understanding that Taperebá is a living system. As such, it can only prosper by contributing to the larger system in which it operates. When we listen to what this territory needs from us to reach its next evolutionary stage, I manage to create a project that has value for its surroundings.

Financing from the nearest school
When we arrived in this land, a resident of the region told us about her dream: to open a Viva School in Aderno, 2 km from Taperebá. We lent the necessary resources for the school to take place, and we continue to monitor and support the project. The school looks beautiful, and opens its doors in January 2023!
Support for Marcelo's vegetable garden
When we arrived in Taperebá, this land already had a resident: Marcelo had already been there for 5 years and welcomed us with open arms. We lent a piece of land, where his house and orchard are located, and we supported him with inputs to expand his organic garden. Our dream is for the garden to grow to provide agroecological food for all associates.

Taperebá was carefully planned, taking into account several aspects to establish the division of the land: solar orientation, the geography of the lots, the waterways and the existing vegetation. We also try to think of a social design that facilitates decisions and cultivates good relations between neighbors, enabling the co-creation of a powerful and resilient collective.
